George Floyd Protests
This is stupid. That cop should never have killed him. That doesn't mean that we have to attack all police officers. One murderous cop doesn't make all of them bad. Why does the protesting have to get so out of control and voilent? Some states had to call in the National Guard! An incident that occurred in another city, another state, should not affect the lives of people who just want to go about their day. Innocent police officers are being attacked, people who have nothing to do with what occurred in Minneapolis, but are suffering the consequences anyway. Stores are being looted and broken into, streets and highways are being blocked, and a Fed-Ex driver has been attacked. Fights are breaking out, and cities are being placed under curfew. This went from being about a corrupt cop killing a helpless man, to a fight about race. You know what I see? I see people. White, black, brown, we are all the same. People are people.
